Eugenijus Chrebtovas
Eugenijus Chrebtovas (baritone) made his opera debut at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2013 and actively performs on stages across Lithuania and abroad.
Feeling. Story. Truth.
Opera is about feeling every word, telling every story with honesty, and finding the truth within each character. Every phrase carries an emotion that must be lived, not merely sung. Every role is a story that deserves to be told with sincerity and depth, so that the audience does not just hear it, but experiences it. And behind every character lies a human truth, waiting to be discovered and brought to life on stage. This is the essence of my art: to give voice to emotion, meaning to story, and life to truth.

On Stage
Since his 2013 debut at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre, Eugenijus Chrebtovas has built a versatile career on stages in Lithuania and abroad. Verdi lies at the heart of his repertoire, with the title roles in Nabucco and Macbeth, Rodrigo in Don Carlo and Giorgio Germont in La traviata. Among his other signature roles are Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin, Bizet’s Escamillo and Mozart’s Figaro. His stage work reaches from Ponchielli’s I Lituani, an opera with special meaning for Lithuanian audiences, to Philip Glass’s contemporary The Voyage.
